Our mission

Free joint replacement surgery, for people who couldn’t otherwise get it.

Operation Walk Georgia sends volunteer orthopedic teams to work alongside local hospitals, so people limited by joint disease can walk back into their lives.

We don’t treat a joint. We return a life.

Advanced arthritis takes things quietly: the walk to the market, a day of work, kneeling at church, carrying a grandchild.

Each mission brings surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and physical therapists together with in-country partners. Patients are evaluated, operated on, and standing again — often within a day.

Partnership, not a visit.

Local surgeons and nurses work alongside our teams in the operating room and on the ward. Knowledge stays when we leave.

Follow-up care continues with the people patients already trust.
